Along with the distortion of imagery in my illustrations, I wanted my type elements to be integrated within the photographic elements and be in tie with the topic. Ideally, I was aiming to create an effective visual using type and not just a standard/meaningless piece of type, the manipulation of the letter forms tell a bit of ethos which holds a correlation with my imagery.
